Customer Service Attendant - Graziano's Weston Market

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming customers, answer phone calls, and respond to customer questions and requests.
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Issue refunds, voids, or credits to customers with manager approval.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure correct amounts and adequate change.
• Calculate total payments received during a time period and reconcile with total sales.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea; customize orders as requested.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete general cleaning duties (e.g., clean tables, chairs, floors).
• Remove dirty dishes, set tables, replenish clean linens, silverware, glassware, condiments, and bread.
• Empty trash cans.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints.
• Restock and roll silverware; assist with stocking stations.
• Answer questions related to drinks, menu, bakery, and catering.
• Check with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and proactively correct any issues.
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver them to the kitchen.
• Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers.
• Ensure food is prepared correctly and to customers' satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked orders to the kitchen.
• Collect plates and clear tables as customers finish their meals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Well-organized with the ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
• Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
• Previous experience as a server preferred.
• Must successfully complete the restaurant’s training course.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.

Schedule

Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
