Responsibilities
- Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods, and other foodservice products at client locations.
- Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines, and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged, or stale products.
- Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
- Maintain attractive, clean, and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
- Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages, and customer preferences.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and merchandising standards.
Requirements
- Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees.
- Ability to perform calculations in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
