Customer Service Associate II, Woodlake Market

Specific Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a polished, friendly demeanor
• Provide personalized service, including product recommendations and assistance with loyalty programs
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor concerns with grace and professionalism
• Accurately scan and ring up purchases using the POS system
• Process payments via cash, credit, mobile pay, gift cards, and various other forms of payment
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies
• Handle gift cards sales and special orders
• Absorb high-value items and specialty products

• Absist with bagging and offer carry-out service when appropriate
• Communicate effectively with front-end and other department teams
• Support other areas during peak times or special events
• Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about new products and promotions
• Follow all cash handling procedures and store policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, well stocked, and welcoming checkout area
• Monitor for potential loss prevention issues and report concerns
• Absorb accurate pricing and promotional application

Skills/Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Familiarity with POS systems and handling cash/card transactions
• Basic computer software skills (e.g., Excell, Word, Outlook)
• Passion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable customer experiences
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

About the Role

This is a full-time position working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 5:30 am and 8:30 pm.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $15.90-$19.85. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
