Customer Service Associate I

Duties

• Aid customers with questions and product recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Secure cash and safeguard company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and restock merchandise
• Handle receiving and unloading merchandise, and replenish stock
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment
• Engage professionally and courteously with customers, associates, and leaders
• Ensure cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills And Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Capable of lifting between 30 and 50 lbs. and meeting demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
