Customer Service Associate I

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working an assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well‑stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, restocking in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug‑store environment (highly preferred).
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Physical ability to lift between 30 lb and 50 lb from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑management skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
