About the role
As a Customer Service Associate (CSA), you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities include coordinating paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments, managing documentation, verifying orders, communicating with truck drivers and team members, assisting with warehouse oversight, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting a safe and efficient environment, and taking on additional tasks as assigned.Responsibilities
- Coordinate paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments with 3rd-party trucking partners
- Monitor and manage documentation using internal and external tracking systems
- Verify prepared orders using scanners and other warehouse tools
- Communicate directly with truck drivers and team members to ensure accurate and efficient load verification
- Assist with oversight of warehouse activities when the Supervisor is unavailable
- Ensure proper storage and on-time delivery of customer products
- Maintain accuracy in inventory, returns, and damage documentation
- Support a safe, efficient warehouse environment
- Complete maintenance documentation and communicate with vendors as needed
- Act as the backup to the Warehouse Manager, when they are not onsite
- Take on additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Shipping/Receiving experience
- Strong computer skills — proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
- High School diploma or GED
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable using PCs, scanners, calculators, and related equipment
- Strong typing speed (35+ WPM)
- SAP experience is a plus!
- Experience with Manhattan Software is a plus
- Warehouse environment (not temperature controlled)
