Customer Service Assistant III

About the role

Reporting to the Manager, Inventory Management, the Customer Service Assistant III provides exceptional customer service to meet, satisfy, and exceed the needs of our membership regarding orders, advertisements, and pre-books. The role focuses on delivering efficient, consistent, and friendly service, promptly addressing complaints, and honoring commitments to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple phone calls and emails daily from members while providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure all retail members’ needs are met or exceeded, guaranteeing complete satisfaction.
• Assist buyers in effective communication with retail members to resolve opportunities.
• Adjust store orders and SSO reports based on store and buyer requests to meet retail member needs.
• Create handbills for emergency ad products and other needs.
• Proactively communicate with buyers on opportunities affecting member service levels and resolve them to customer satisfaction.
• Process all ads and promotional information for ad groups.
• Accurately submit retail pre-book orders daily, manage the upload process, batching, and verify daily input of orders.
• Work with assigned divisions to ensure timely system entry of retail and Food Show orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 6 months of previous customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; Microsoft Access experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent prioritization skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
