What You Will Do At ODM This position is currently remote (work from home) but may be subject to change to regular, in-office work* Office: Operations Bureau: Network Management Classification: Customer Service Assistant 1 - Intermittent (Multiple) Job Overview The Customer Service Assistant duties include but are not limited to: Process provider enrollment and revalidation applications according to productivity standards.Monitor and track application statuses to ensure timely follow‑up and completion.Provide support to internal and external stakeholdersVerify provider documentation for accuracy and completeness before processing.Update provider records in the enrollment system as needed.Maintain compliance with state and federal requirements and internal policies.Use designated communication tools such as Teams, the PE mailbox, and ServiceNow to assist with inquiries and create tickets.Participate in required meetings and assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed. 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in office practices & procedures; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public relations or customer service to include techniques for dealing with difficult people; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in typing, keyboarding, data entry or word processing; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in operation of personal computer. Or equivalent of Minimum Qualifications for Employment noted above. Note: in the telecommunications section, within the Ohio Department of Public Safety, employees will automatically be reassigned to the Customer Services Assistant 2, 64432 classification after serving 6 months as a Customer Service Assistant 1, 64431.
