Customer Sales & Service Rep I

About the Role

Our Customer Sales & Service Representatives are knowledgeable, energetic, and consistently deliver the best overall customer experience. To succeed in this role, you need to be passionate and customer-obsessed while serving commercial and residential consumers in the green industry.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all SiteOne customers
• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers
• Assist customers with their questions and needs, either in person, via phone, or through online ordering
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick-up or delivery
• Proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow sales with current and potential customers
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to positively impact business performance
• Assist with merchandising products, managing inventory, and other store tasks while maintaining a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or wholesale setting, preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Green industry experience or knowledge of landscape, nursery, or irrigation products a plus
• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
• Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions
• Inventory management experience helpful
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay

$18-$22 hourly

Starting pay will depend on factors such as location and experience and will always meet or exceed applicable state and local minimum wage laws.
