Customer Logistics Manager - DTS SET
Job Description
The Startup Operation members (SET Ops) acts as a setup consultant and handles all aspects of new Dedicated Transportation Solutions business startups along with ongoing support of Field Operations. This includes both driver and manager training for basic system operations and often includes aiding and functioning in the expected role. As such, the ability to prioritize work-tasks and manage the day-to-day task items are requirements of this position. Additionally, the team engages and takes part in the writing of process documents, system testing, and even design-level consulting for new pieces of the product.
Essential Functions
- Members of Start Up team focused on flawless execution and adherence to pre-established customer critical success factors
- Ensuring both drivers and managers understand the core operations and systems used for tracking compliance, driver pay, and customer billing
- Acting as an arm of management to answer questions and make quick decisions during the startup phase
- Training of new management team and Certified Driver Trainer group
- Building out of process flow and providing guidance on consistency of operations

- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Knowledge and inner workings of a driver route tool is a plus
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Strong organization, analytical, and computer skills
- Ability to create and develop an inclusive and engaged work environment
- Ability to effectively manage Profit & Loss statements may be necessary depending on the complexity and scope of the operation (preferred)
Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
- Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
- One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required.
- Advanced knowledge required for:
- Logistics industry knowledge
- Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations
- Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components
- Advanced knowledge required for:
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production
