Responsibilities

• Ensure all crew members deliver exceptional customer service through personal interaction and by training the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, guaranteeing a fast, friendly checkout for every guest.
• Lead the assigned store to achieve and maintain customer service score goals set by the District Manager.
• Oversee front-end operations, including merchandising (candy, soda, snacks) to meet or exceed brand standards, and ensure all front-end equipment is functional and associates are properly trained.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, maintain store cleanliness, recovery, and ensure the store is always customer-ready.
• Perform store manager duties in their absence.
• Partner with the store manager to recruit, train, coach, develop, and supervise all crew members.
• Review and act on all corporate communications.
• Collaborate with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks, including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.
• Additional responsibilities as determined by the Store Manager based on store needs.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Essential Job Functions

• Frequently operate a cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise at heights of 5-10 feet.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers, managers, and coworkers via telephone and face-to-face interactions.
• Frequently move across the sales floor and to/from the stock room to assist customers and manage merchandise.
• Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel as required.
• Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Starting at $16.00 per hour.
