Customer Experience Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure all crew members deliver a WOW customer experience through personal contact.
• Train the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience to provide fast, friendly checkout.
• Lead the assigned store to achieve and maintain customer service score goals set by the District Manager.
• Oversee front‑end operations, including merchandising of candy, soda, and snacks to meet or exceed brand standards.
• Maintain front‑end equipment, ensuring it is functional and associates are trained on its use.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, maintain store cleanliness, and keep the store ready for customers at all times.
• Perform store manager duties in their absence.
• Partner with the store manager to recruit, train, coach, develop, and supervise all crew members.
• Review corporate communications and act accordingly.
• Collaborate with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks such as taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Store Manager based on store needs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (college experience preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and think creatively.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate cash register frequently.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lb and place/remove items up to 5‑10 ft high.
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Communicate with customers face‑to‑face and by telephone, and exchange accurate information with managers and coworkers.
• Move across the sales floor assisting customers and transporting merchandise between the sales floor and stock room.
• Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts and travel as required.
• Interpret email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for approximately 80 % of the time.
• Be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential functions in compliance with applicable laws.

Pay

Hourly position starting at $16.73.

Schedule

Flexible schedule required to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekend, and possible overnight shifts.
