Responsibilities

• Ensure all crew members are “Wowing the Customer” through personal contact.
• Train the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer-service experience so every guest enjoys a fast, friendly checkout.
• Lead your assigned store to achieve and maintain customer-service score goals set by the District Manager.
• Oversee front-end operations, including merchandising of candy, soda, and snacks to meet or exceed brand standards.
• Keep all front-end equipment in working order and ensure associates are trained on available services.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, maintain store cleanliness, recovery, and readiness for customers at all times.
• Act as the Store Manager in their absence.
• Partner with the Store Manager to recruit, train, coach, develop, and supervise all crew members.
• Review all corporate communications and respond as needed.
• Collaborate with the entire store leadership team on merchandising and World Recovery.
• Handle store maintenance tasks such as taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager based on store needs.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Essential Job Functions

• Frequently operate a cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove items up to 5–10 feet high.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers in person, by telephone, and via email.
• Frequently move across the sales floor and between the sales floor and stock room.
• Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and travel as required by business needs.
• Identify and interpret email and print instructions regarding layouts, schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
• Be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable laws.

Starting at $17.00 per hour.
