Customer Experience Banker - Kalida, OH
About the role
As a Customer Experience Banker (Non NMLS), you serve as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs, recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
- Understand and educate customers on consumer deposit products.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners.
- Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships.
- Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role or a Bachelor's Degree.
Qualifications
- Preferred: 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
- Cash handling skills.
- Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
Schedule
This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay.
Workplace Type
This is an office-based role. Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement, combining in-office and remote work. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.
