Customer Experience Banker - full-time - Ten Mile - Warren, MI (preferred Bengali Speaking)
About the Role

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you serve as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers, retaining and growing consumer and business relationships by identifying financial goals and recommending appropriate banking products and services.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
- Educate customers on consumer deposit products and services.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through sales processes, follow-up programs, outbound calling, and referrals.
- Educate and refer customers to other bank areas to deepen relationships.
- Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including processing transactions accurately and balancing daily.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role, or a Bachelor’s Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year or more of experience in customer service within banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
- Cash handling skills.
- Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking.
Schedule
This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay. The workplace type is primarily office-based, with certain roles outside the branch network eligible for flexible work arrangements combining in-office and remote work.
