Customer Experience Banker (Bilingual Spanish) - Addison/Elston, Chicago, IL

About the role

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you are a Financial Concierge for our walk-in customers, responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products.
• Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships.
• Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and balance daily while providing exemplary customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role or a Bachelor's Degree.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales (preferred).
• Cash handling skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
• Bilingual (Spanish) (preferred).

This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay.

Pay

Compensation range: $23.00–$26.00 hourly. The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.
