Responsibilities
- Works closely with customers and discusses our discounts.
- Solves issues about any of our discounts or programs.
- Reaches out to customers and sets appointments.
- Cross-sells to our customers with regards to the Multi-Line discount.
- Handles incoming calls and answers any questions.
- Collects payments and makes policy changes.
- Sets up bill accounts and works on other simple billing requests.
- Submits claims paperwork that is requested by the claim’s representatives.
- Provides proof of insurance documents that are requested by clients.
- May assist with INFB Health Plans.
- Handles any additional duties assigned by management.
Requirements For Success
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in insurance.
- A Property & Casualty insurance license, or the ability to obtain one within a year.
- Working knowledge of Farm Bureau discounts and programs, or the ability to learn this information quickly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to interact professionally with both internal and external clients.
- Proficiency in using Android and Apple phones.
- The ability to be patient and understanding while guiding customers through technology.
