About the role

Tire Rack is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Delivery Driver to support their Mobile Installation team by delivering tires, wheel and tire packages, and accessories directly to customers from their Mobile Installation location.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Ford Transit delivery van to transport tires, wheels, wheel and tire packages, and accessories to customer locations.
  • Deliver products accurately and on schedule while following established delivery routes and procedures.
  • Return undeliverable products to the warehouse and assist with inventory reconciliation as needed.
  • Work with warehouse associates to load, inventory, and organize products for daily deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and functional delivery vehicle, including performing basic preventive maintenance checks.
  • Ensure products are handled safely and securely throughout the delivery process.
  • Provide outstanding customer service during every delivery interaction.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding deliveries and answer basic questions as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with warehouse staff, managers, customer care associates, and other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Drive defensively while complying with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
  • Work independently while maintaining accountability for assigned routes and daily responsibilities.
  • Learn basic tire installation, mounting, and balancing procedures to support operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
  • DOT qualified or ability to obtain DOT qualification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong work ethic with dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and effectively manage daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Previous delivery driving or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating cargo or delivery vans is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of tire installation, mounting, and balancing procedures is preferred.
  • Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is preferred.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, minimum 40-hour work week. Additional hours, including occasional Saturdays, may be required.
