About the role
A Customer Care Technician in this position will be working in a biomedical laboratory and manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing common areas, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, warehouse and storage areas to ensure the facility is clean and in good condition for routine daily activities.
- Ensuring all laboratories and equipment are clean, disinfected, and ready for production and testing of sterile medical products.
- Stocking and organizing supplies for all required areas of the scope.
- Operating Microsoft applications (for charting, email, training, etc.) and other computer-based systems utilized in the facility.
- Following standard procedures and executing activities independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Completing documentation in a regulated environment such as completing logbooks, training, and communicating with other groups on equipment maintenance activities and special cleanings.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail.
- Experience performing housekeeping responsibilities, or custodial or sanitization in a medical, laboratory, or a clean room environment.
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day in a physically active role.
- Minimum of high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Reliable, hardworking team player.
- Ability to use Microsoft computer applications for communication, emails, and training.
- Ability to pass a full physical as well as a drug test to work in a physically active role.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
