Customer Care Specialist

Shamrock Roofing & Construction is a family-owned roofing and construction company headquartered in Kansas City, operating since 1977. With recent growth across the Midwest—including locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas—we’re expanding our team while maintaining our family-owned business feel.

About the role

This position performs outbound calls to potential and current customers to provide updates and relevant information on behalf of our sales specialists. You’ll work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate, effective, and quality communication.

Responsibilities

• Make outgoing calls to current and potential customers to deliver updates throughout their roofing claims or repairs.
• Serve as Shamrock’s professional representative in all customer communications (phone, email, etc.).
• Possess strong knowledge of our roofing products and services to identify customer needs.
• Document each call according to company and departmental policies.
• Follow up with customers in a timely manner.
• Apply a positive customer service attitude in all interactions.
• Establish positive rapport and demonstrate patience and understanding.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a customer care specialist or representative.
• Knowledge of spreadsheets (Shamrock uses Google Business Suite).
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong goal-setting and motivation.
• Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with computers and have a quiet work environment.
• Keen attention to detail.

Bilingual candidates are a plus.

Pay

$40,000–$45,000 based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (with an hour for lunch). Saturdays as needed.
