Customer Care Representative

About the role

This isn’t a typical call center seat. We’re looking for a Customer Care Concierge — someone who brings warmth, expertise, and a genuine love of food to every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality service across email, SMS, and social channels — not just resolving issues
• Go the extra mile for both direct customers and 3PL partners, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the Crowd Cow standard
• Harness our AI-enabled customer listening tools to spot trends, anticipate needs, and continuously elevate the customer experience
• Step in to resolve complex issues, turning difficult moments into opportunities to build loyalty
• Help grow our seasonal gifting program by confidently guiding customers and corporate clients through gift card or product selections tailored to their needs and budgets
• Communicate clearly and warmly, with a proactive, solutions-first attitude
• Be tech-savvy — Zendesk experience required; Looker is a plus
• Have some experience in a sales and feel comfortable guiding customers through a buying decision
• Have meticulous attention to detail and can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Bonus: Already know your ribeye from your wagyu and can talk cooking temps without Googling

$18.00–$22.00/hr DOE, with upside for Zendesk expertise and serious meat knowledge
