Customer and Product Solutions Engineer, GenAI

In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's diverse product ecosystem. gTech Users and Products (gUP's) AI Technical Services team empowers first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) partners and stakeholders to innovate with technologies by providing technical services that unlock the potential of generative AI and open-source solutions. We're a group of product specialists that support Google's GenAI and open-source software products. We are committed to building an ever more fair gUP, and consider this the foundation upon which individual, team, and user success are built. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
• 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience working with Generative AI models and related technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with data analysis and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and team-work skills.

Responsibilities

• Enable developers, creators, and enterprises to effectively build on and leverage Google DeepMind Gen AI products and Gemini APIs.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product management to shape future product roadmaps, translating partner feedback into actionable features.
• Act as a product expert to guide, troubleshoot, and help AI startups launch successfully using Gemini models, APIs, and tools.
• Design, build, and maintain internal support solutions powered by Agentic toolkits and Gemini Gen AI offerings.
• Stay at the forefront of rapid advancements in generative AI, sharing critical technical insights with internal teams and external partners.

Pay

US: $127,000 - $182,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
