About the role

The primary responsibility of a Customer Accounts Advisor at Aaron’s is to coach customers towards timely lease agreement renewals and payment collections. This involves building relationships with customers through both phone calls and in-person visits, explaining lease agreement benefits, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Attain and maintain customer account information in the store computer system.
  • Contact customers who haven’t renewed their lease agreements via home visits and phone calls.
  • Sell the benefits of timely lease agreement payments to customers.
  • Aid the Customer Account Manager in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
  • Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Clean and certify returned merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center.
  • Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheets and daily route sheets.
  • Load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle.
  • Safely operate the company vehicle.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy.
  • Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold the Aaron’s Brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient in using company computers.
