About the role

The primary responsibility of a Customer Accounts Advisor at Aaron’s is to coach customers towards timely lease agreement renewals and ensure customer satisfaction. This involves building relationships through phone calls and home visits, explaining lease agreement benefits, and assisting with merchandise returns and deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Attain and maintain customer account information in the store computer system.
  • Contact non-renewing customers for lease agreement renewal discussions.
  • Sell the benefits of timely lease agreement payments to customers.
  • Aid the Customer Account Manager in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal targets.
  • Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries.
  • Certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center.
  • Complete and maintain vehicle maintenance and route sheets.
  • Operate and safely load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle.
  • Support the Sales Team as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and DOT certification if applicable.
  • Two years of retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
  • Professional appearance and proficient computer skills.
