About the role

The primary responsibility of an Aaron’s Customer Account Advisor is to serve as a coach to customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals. This involves building relationships with customers through both phone and in-person interactions, explaining lease agreement benefits, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain customer relationships through phone and in-home visits.
  • Directly contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements.
  • Sell customers on the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments.
  • Aid the Customer Account Manager in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
  • Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center.
  • Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheets and route sheets.
  • Load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle.
  • Safely operate the company vehicle.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy.
  • Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold the Aaron’s Brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient computer skills.
