About the role

The primary responsibility of an Aaron’s Customer Account Advisor is to serve as a coach to customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves building relationships with customers through phone calls and in-person visits, assisting with merchandise returns, and supporting the Sales Team.

Responsibilities

  • Attain and maintain customer account information in the store computer system and document all customer payment appointments.
  • Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, both in home visits and over the phone.
  • Sell customers on the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments.
  • Aid the Customer Account Manager in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
  • Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
  • Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned.
  • Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheets and route sheets daily.
  • Load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle.
  • Safely operate the company vehicle.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR.
  • Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States).
  • Ability to work schedules varying from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with a dolly.
  • Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold the Aaron’s Brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $12.75 to $13.50 per hour/annually*. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Schedule

The work schedule varies from 8 am to 9 pm.
