Custom Quality Analyst II (Weekday Days)

This position is part of the Custom Quality Control department located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate products in support of all manufacturing areas within Integrated DNA Technologies in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO13485 requirements.
• Perform in-process and final QC testing to determine the pass/fail status of products by using a wide variety of molecular biology methods and specialized equipment.
• Analyze a variety of QC tests according to Standard Operating Procedures and accurately document results via established product specifications.
• Perform data entry and peer review for accuracy in accordance with lab procedures.
• Assist in maintaining and calibrating a variety of specialized equipment and troubleshoot as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required. (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related life science field preferred); Alternatively, an associate’s degree with 2 years of directly related experience.
• At least 2 years applicable lab experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lb.

Skills

• Previous experience in PCR and qPCR
• Next Generation Sequencing
• Enzymatics

Pay

Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm.
