Custody Officer-Community Corrections

Job Summary

This position performs intake and release functions, floor monitoring, serving at the control counter, preparing and filing reports, supervision of inmates and other related functions. Must follow universal precaution standards for blood borne diseases.

Job Requirements

- High School Diploma or HSE required - Ability to complete and maintain required training and certifications provided by department and IDOC - Ability to make practical application of local, state, and federal regulations, Indiana statutes, standard policies and procedures and legal terminology of the criminal justice system - Possession of a valid driver's license
