Custodian - Travel Plaza

About the role

This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the travel plaza to ensure a pleasant experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and tools to clean toilets, walls, windows, work areas, and equipment
• Remove trash
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors
• Organize the lobby and dining areas
• Transfer supplies
• Load and unload supply trucks
• Adhere to security, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Perform additional duties as business needs evolve

Qualifications

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently bend, twist, lift, and carry at least 40 pounds
• Work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without accommodations

Skills

• Demonstrate friendly, enthusiastic interaction with the public and coworkers
• Preferred experience in cash handling and customer service
