Custodian Substitute
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, security, and basic maintenance of a school or district building.
- Perform evening shifts during the work week.
Education And Related Work Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of 18 years of age is required.
- No prior experience is necessary; experience in general cleaning, chemical handling, and customer service is preferred.
Licenses, Registrations Or Certifications
- A criminal background check is required for hire.
- The ability to successfully complete a pre-hire, post-offer physical examination is required.

Salary Information
All Classified positions are paid on an hourly basis. All Newly hired classified employees are placed initially on Step 1 of the pay grade for their position. Classified employees can advance an additional 7 steps (maximum Step 8) based on their previous experience. Final hourly placement on the Classified Salary schedule is dependent on the Grade Level for the position being posted and employees' previous work experience.
