About the role

As a Custodian at Applegreen USA, you will ensure our travel plazas—featuring brands like Auntie Anne’s, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, and more—remain clean, hygienic, and welcoming for travelers. Responsibilities

• Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment to complete tasks.
• Clean toilets, walls, windows, worktables, refrigerators, and other equipment using proper supplies.
• Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors thoroughly.
• Maintain clean and organized lobbies and dining areas.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck.
• Load and unload supply trucks.
• Follow all security, sanitation, and safety procedures established by the Company.
• Frequently immerse hands in water and chemical solutions.
• Interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, twist, lift, and carry at least 40 pounds.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
