Custodian FT evenings

Salary and Schedule

Salary range: $19.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 3pm to 11:30pm plus overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping
• Mopping
• Dusting/washing furniture
• Vacuuming floors and surfaces
• Restocking restroom and kitchen areas
• Sanitizing bathroom surfaces, fixtures, and food handling areas
• Emptying trash and recycling receptacles
• Moving the trash and recyclables to the appropriate pick-up points
• Stripping, waxing, and burning floors using power floor machines
• Operating heavy-duty wet pick-up machines to remove liquids from floor surfaces

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle for on-campus transportation required
• Full background check required
• Must be able to work well with the general school community
• Must be able to perform all aspects of custodial services
• Be able to respond to changing and/or short notice custodial service requirements
• Prior floor care and cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to carry out the duties of the position
