Custodian-East Belleville YMCA

Responsibilities

• Complete all duties listed on the daily schedule to ensure the Y remains attractive and clean
• Maintain upkeep of assigned area and equipment
• Perform cleaning tasks including wet and dust mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, pool cleaning, painting, vacuuming
• Handle seasonal activities such as lawn care and snow removal
• Operate related motorized and non-motorized equipment
• Record and report all needed repairs; perform repairs as directed
• Ensure YMCA building and property is secure during shift and report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Replace soap, paper towels, and other supplies
• Set up furniture for events as needed
• Perform all other duties as assigned
