Custodian - Child Care Center Beverly Blvd Los Angeles

What You'll Do

• Keep classrooms, restrooms, offices, and hallways clean and sanitized
• Sweep, mop, strip, buff, and wax floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets
• Set up classroom furniture and maintain restroom supplies
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling
• Operate standard custodial equipment safely (vacuums, shampoo machines, water extractors)
• Patrol grounds and walkways, picking up litter and debris
• Follow all safety practices and confidentiality policies regarding students and staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Need

• A high school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of custodial or similar work experience
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Comfort and sensitivity working around children and families
• Strong time management, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have

• Experience with commercial cleaning products and chemical/cleaning supply knowledge
