About the role
Tulsa Public Schools seeks a custodian to maintain facilities using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain entire facility using proper chemicals, equipment, and techniques
- Fill in for the Building and Grounds Site Supervisor (BGSS) in their absence
- Report any unsafe conditions and/or maintenance needs to the BGSS and supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a custodian preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.
- Clear understanding of different cleaning products and equipment
- Able or willing to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. assisted
- Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds
