Custodian

About the role

Peterson is a family-owned and operated business with over 85 years of experience shaping communities through construction and maintenance projects. We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and scrub all floors.
• Empty trash, garbage, and recycling containers daily.
• Clean and wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Clean all restroom fixtures and refill dispensers.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and furniture.
• Complete assigned online training by the established due date(s).
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Assist up to 30% of the time with clerical duties including reviewing maintenance work orders, document scanning and filing, email communications, and updating expense spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a custodian, preferably in a heavy industrial environment.
• Ability to obtain a lift truck certification.
