Custodian

Duties & Essential Job Functions

• Maintain cleanliness of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing
• Use industrial walk-behind floor scrubber
• Clean restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors, and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Clean breakrooms and other common areas, ensuring all surfaces, including countertops and appliances, are sanitized and presentable
• Empty trash cans and replace liners throughout the facility
• Clean the exteriors of production machines and equipment
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned
• Willing to take on new responsibilities as the role evolves

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of janitorial or custodial experience is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• The ability to read, write, and understand English
• A consistent attendance record
• The ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Pay & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is $16.00 - $17.00 per hour and is eligible for an annual bonus.
