Custodian

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain cleanliness in the break rooms, locker rooms, office areas, conference rooms, training rooms, etc.
• Pick up supplies and runs errands.
• Set up conference rooms, class rooms, auditorium and other areas as necessary.
• Sweep and hose sidewalk areas and stairwells daily.
• Mop, strip and wax floors as needed.
• Shampoo carpet as needed.
• Clean windows inside and outside as needed.
• Check and maintain supplies in all pertinent restroom and locker room areas.
• Operate vehicles to pick up supplies.
• Replace light bulbs as needed.
• Report malfunction of equipment to proper authority.

Requirements

This position may be classified as a lead person which will perform job duties as assigned. Know and apply safety rules that apply to the safety of others and to personal safety. Keep storage areas neat and orderly. Perform other work as instructed by supervisor.
