MISTAFF is a collaborative effort of the Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators, Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators, Michigan Association of School Boards, Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals, Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association, and Michigan School Public Relations Association.
About the Role
We are seeking dedicated educators to fill various teaching positions across Michigan K-12 schools. These roles are ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in students' lives through innovative and inclusive education practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet district and state curriculum standards.
- Engage students in active learning through differentiated instruction.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning.
Requirements
- Valid Michigan teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred for some positions).
- Demonstrated experience in classroom management and student engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with Michigan’s educational standards and assessments.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing educational environments and policies.
