Custodial Support Associate Polk County Campus

Duties

• Daily cleaning of the Polk County campus common areas including bottle filling stations, windows, floors, restrooms, administrative offices, lobbies, breakrooms, and outside walks and door mats.
• Emptying waste cans, picking up litter in the yard and parking lot, and replenishing hand towels, toilet tissues, and soap in restrooms.
• Performing safety and security checks.
• Supporting student success.
• Checking motorized equipment before using and contacting Facilities Support Associate Lead for needed maintenance and repair.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or the equivalent as determined by the High School Equivalency (HSE) Test
• Three (3) years of custodial work experience
• Familiar with cleaning chemicals and MSDS labeling
• Must possess or are able to obtain a valid Tennessee driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Five (5) years of custodial work experience in an education setting preferred
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred but not necessary
