Custodial Shift Leader II - Driving

About the role

The Custodial Shift Leader is responsible for safely performing contract duties as assigned by management, delivering quality customer service at all times, and demonstrating a willingness to learn all aspects of the job.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform contract duties as directed by management.
• Provide quality customer service consistently.
• Learn and apply all aspects of custodial responsibilities.
• Work independently when needed to support the group effort.
• Interact appropriately with customers and team members.
• Follow Emergency Operations Work Assignments per customer requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in custodial or related services.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Ability to work independently as needed.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence, satisfactory driving record, and insurability under corporate policy.
• Ability to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.

Physical Requirements

• Travel to various locations and buildings throughout the year, in various weather conditions.
• Most work performed indoors; may involve cleaning chemicals.
• Regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 lb.
• Occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 lb.
• May be required to remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using shovels or snowplows.

Schedule

• Day and night shifts available.
• Work hours may include early morning, mid‑morning, afternoon, evening, weekends, and holidays.
• Schedules are subject to change based on customer needs.
