Custodial Services Worker - KDP - Sumner

About the role

As a Custodial Services worker on our team, you’ll take on the important job of keeping our operations and locations clean, ensuring our customers stay happy and healthy. This position serves as a starting point for your career at Aramark.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including compliance with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others.
• Accurately maintain and clean housekeeping equipment.
• Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
• Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
• Secure the facility, ensuring the building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensure the security of company assets.
• Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive guest service demeanor toward guests, clients, and co-workers.
• Adapt to guests’ needs.

Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet business commitments.

Requirements

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.

Physical Demands

• This role may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 to $23.00.
