Custodial Services Worker - Baldwin Wallace University Facilities

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote safety and health.
• Accurately maintain and clean housekeeping equipment.
• Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
• Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
• Secure the facility, ensuring the building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensure security of company assets.
• Perform additional duties as needed; job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive guest‑service demeanor toward guests, clients, and co‑workers.
• Adaptable to guests' needs.
• Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing.
• May be required to wear a uniform and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $16.00.

Schedule

Nights, Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM.
