Custodial Services Worker -

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt and debris
• Empty trash, replace liners, and transport waste to designated areas
• Break down boxes and manage recycling as needed
• Dust surfaces, including high dusting, vents, and fixtures
• Clean glass, mirrors, and other reflective surfaces
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and follow proper procedures at all times
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums and mops
• Follow cleaning checklists to ensure all assigned areas meet standards
• Report maintenance or repair issues through work order processes
• Lock or unlock areas as needed and help maintain facility security
• Work indoors in a fast-paced environment with frequent walking, bending, and lifting

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred
• Strong attendance and reliability with ability to work assigned shift
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Able to perform physical work (standing, walking, lifting, bending) throughout shift
• Willingness to work one rotating weekend day
