Custodial Floater - 260 days (Evenings)

Essential Functions

• Cleans corridors, cafeteria, rest rooms, shower rooms, according to departmental guidelines.
• Cleans light fixtures.
• Strips, scrubs and refinishes floors.
• Cleans walls, furniture, blinds, and carpet during summer months or when school is not in session.
• Performs snow removal from entranceways.
• Affords assistance to maintenance personnel when required.

Equipment

• Uses hand tools of trade and related power equipment, including brooms, mops, floor cleaning and waxing machines, vacuum cleaners, snow blowers, and snow shovels.

Travel Requirements

• Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

Pay Rate

$15.75 per hour + .50 differential

Work Schedule

8 hours per day 260 days per year
