Custodial Cleaner

Amentum is seeking a Custodial Cleaner for multiple OCONUS locations contingent upon award.

About the role

The Custodial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Operate cleaning machines such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
• Communicate effectively with staff and guests.
• Adhere to Amentum’s safety culture, including completing all training requirements and participating in emergency response tasks.
• Conform to Amentum’s Quality Policy and comply with applicable quality system documents and customer contracts.
• Read, understand, and implement operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all relevant plans, procedures, and policies.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in custodial work or equivalent positions.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with staff and guests.
• Possess a SECRET security clearance at the start of the contract and obtain TS access within eight (8) months of the contract award.

Work Environment

• Work in various indoor environments, performing physical tasks such as lifting and operating cleaning equipment.
• Mental demands include attention to detail and effective communication.
