About the Role
The Good Clean Account Manager provides supervision, coordination, and development of designated Good Clean/NNEES contracted sites with gross revenue of $400,000 or more.
Responsibilities
- Supervise assigned personnel, including recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and scheduling.
- Direct day-to-day operations of assigned contracted sites to ensure all deliverables are completed for the customer and all tasks in the contract/SOW are fulfilled.
- Prepare reports for management and customers, such as daily operation logs, waste reports, time sheets, incident reports, competitive employment statements, disability statements, and cost analysis.
- Ensure supplies and equipment are available and in working order at sites.
- Provide oversight of equipment in the region, including maintaining a safety log, ensuring proper functionality, and managing inventory.
- Oversee fleet vehicles in the region, including completion of daily fleet logs and coordination of vehicle maintenance, registration, and inspection.
- Interface with Project Managers to ensure Good Clean projects (floors, windows, and general SOAs) are scheduled, executed, and billed according to contract.
- Work with the Director of Operations to establish procedures for new Good Clean contract startups in the assigned area, including equipment requirements, service costing, and staff scheduling.
- Schedule and/or complete non-daily tasks such as high dusting, strip and wax floors, and carpet cleaning.
- Approve Good Clean purchase orders from Project Managers via Financial Edge and vendors.
- Manage the renewal process of Good Clean contracts in assigned areas.
- Drive a box truck for recycle collection.
- Participate in regularly scheduled Good Clean management meetings.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures.
- Developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to supervise, instruct, and motivate employees regarding contract duties.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Ability to handle strenuous physical activity, including occasional heavy lifting.
- Proficiency with personal computers, including email, internet, and Microsoft Office software.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of classified information.
- Successful completion of a background check that meets Agency standards.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and insurance that meets Agency standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant experience.
- 4+ years of custodial services experience.
- 4+ years of supervisory or project management experience.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Exposure to chemicals.
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.
- Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces under buildings).
- Repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying of objects.
