Cust Service Rep - Seedway - Hall, NY

It serves over 100,000 customers across North America with high‑quality farm seed, lawn and turf products, and a leading line of vegetable seed for growers in the United States and Eastern Canada. The company is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional service and ensure smooth order processing from start to finish.

Pay

Salary range: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer orders, including printing invoices, verifying credit‑card transactions, entering orders into JD Edwards, and marking orders as shipped.
• Process credit‑card refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up on order preparation, coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams, and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Handle order‑related issues such as delays, returns, exchanges, and refunds while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with customers, salespersons, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate information, take orders, and address complaints.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and WooCommerce order notes.
• Operate office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and personal computers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 + years of clerical‑related work experience demonstrating professional communication skills, typing proficiency, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Demonstrated abilities in business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
