About the role
This role is responsible for maintaining relationships with current accounts/patients and ensuring they have the necessary equipment for home healthcare needs. Key responsibilities include responding to customer needs, managing follow-ups, and troubleshooting issues.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a single point of contact for specific accounts
- Responds to customer needs, concerns, and complaints
- Consults with clients and referral sources on products and necessary equipment
- Obtains all required documentation for orders and enters them into the system
- Contacts patients to confirm orders and communicate financial obligations
- Affirms patient's needs and promotes company products/services
- Troubleshoots issues with medical groups and relevant departments
- Assists medical groups and provider groups in understanding products and services
- Participates in quality assurance/performance improvement initiatives
- Follows up on authorizations, CMNs, and prescriptions
- Trains patients on equipment use
- Responds to emergency calls and related needs
- Coordinates patient services with physicians and medical groups
- Performs timely follow-up on discharges
- Operates a personally owned vehicle in accordance with essential job functions
- Sets up and delivers home healthcare products and services
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to build and maintain solid working relationships
- Passes POV requirements and safety training
Qualifications
- Age 21 or older
- Business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
