About the role
The role involves managing a team of 5 museum curators, overseeing exhibitions, and developing educational programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the museum's curatorial department.
- Develop and implement educational programs for visitors of all ages.
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute exhibitions.
- Research and select artifacts for new exhibits.
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote museum events and programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in museum studies or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership position within a museum setting.
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
